“The world class professors at ITMMA are providing the students with a solid academic background in the fields of transport, logistics and maritime management.

In complement to this valuable background there are plenty of opportunities to get in touch with the practical aspects of industry through means of company site visits and industry conferences hosted by ITMMA.

As such the ITMMA students get various opportunities to meet and interact with top industry professionals.

Some of the guest lectures at ITMMA are given by renowned captains of industry from leading maritime companies. The possibility to interact with them in class was an unforgettable opportunity that I personally appreciated very much.

Various discussions and teamwork sessions with ITMMA colleagues from all over the world were a fantastic experience that widened my personal horizon and resulted in myself becoming a true cosmopolitan.

The wonderful friendships at ITMMA have created an irreplaceable personal worldwide network.

The whole ITMMA staff is constantly available to assure that the ITMMA experience is an enjoyable and interesting adventure.

My MTMM master year at the ITMMA institute has been a once in a lifetime experience that I would warmly recommend to everyone who has a passion for transport, logistics and/or maritime management.

And … it even doesn’t really end there … as I personally consider it to be a great honour to be able to join the worldwide ITMMA alumni network of maritime and logistics industry experts. “

“I did make the right choice to study at ITMMA to achieve a sound understanding of marine transportation and discover more opportunities in the promising maritime industry. Various company visits and fresh experiences from lecturers have brought a lot of added value to the ITMMA programme. It has been a great pleasure to study and live in the ITMMA family. The staff at ITMMA has been very helpful in many respects. They were always friendly and patient towards any problems, just like friends. I also greatly benefited from the international environment at ITMMA. The students came from 16 countries spread over different continents, which provided a lot of opportunities to learn from each other in a multicultural atmosphere. It is my honour to have all these friends in ITMMA, which made me feel like home in Antwerp. Although as short as it is, the ITMMA programme is definitely a new milestone in my career, which enables me to step closer to my dream. I should say thank you to all our friends, I am very proud to be a member of the big ITMMA family. “
