Each academic year 'the Propeller Club of the United States, Port of Antwerp No 207 Award' at the value of 2,500 € will be granted to an ITMMA graduate for having best met the following two criteria for the MTMM programme:
- a very good thesis or thesis project (i.e. at least 'cum laude' or distinction for the thesis or the thesis project) with regard to the shipping industry, and,
- very good results (i.e. 'cum laude' or distinction) for all courses of the MTMM programme.

The 'Propeller Club Award' is granted during the Graduation Ceremony in May to a student who completed all courses and the thesis in that specific academic year. Students who submit their thesis in the second session (September) and as such did not graduate in May are not eligible for the 'Propeller Club Award'.
